U need to put ur local ip!!!!  ;) then clik host!!!  ;D ::)

I never had to do that.

MiQ, your firewall could be blocking you from hosting.

I don't know the reason why you can't host, so I can't quote the thing that will fix it  :P

Please watch this and help  :-[

I can't host a server. I have allowed LieroX at my firewall (Windows firewall), I have opened the port 23400 on Windows firewall. I have ticked [x] Register server like that. And sometimes when I host comes a error message: "Couldn't register with the master server: couldn't resolve address"

Sometimes that error doesn't come, but then I'm waiting and nobody joins my server. Well, I hosted as normally and I left the game on and I went to Windows, I opened new LieroX window and I went to server list, I pressed "Update list" and my server was there. Not down, just Open and the green ball or something there. There was slots left 1/6 etc. I joined the server and there was my another user and I could even start the game with my two players. So I can myself connect to my server and I see it on the server list. Why can't anyone else join it?

I'm so sad, becouse it's always hard to find a good only mortar -server.

Thanks and I hope you figure out something.

E: And now I noticed when I host a server and I go to LieroX with a new window. My server is on the server list and it's too on the LAN. Wtf?  :o

I have a funny situation about hosting. I can never host in the past. But recently i found out that i can host under a very weird and special condition.
And this condition is:
When i press the "update list" button, the server list cannot be obtain OR
When i cannot get to the lierox website http://lieroxtreme.thegaminguniverse.com/
Only then my server starts to appear on the internet server list.

But i dont always get that condition which means that i can't always host.  :(

The same problem...If you have modem, maybe is there something wrong with it or your parents forbid you to host, because it's a way open to hackers...

What are you talking about? Be more specific. What info, what's netgear? An ISP, a router? Be more specific.

I don't know what type of NetGear router you are using, but if you want you can use this, IT DOSENT MATTER WHAT THING YOU SELECT AS LONG AS YOU REMEMBER SOME OF THE BASICS THAT ARE FOUND IN THE FIRST POST. That being the port number for LieroX.

http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/

Read it, follow it, change what needs to be changed.
Hint: Press Ctrl + f to bring up a search field, and type in NetGear, and look for your router.

I want you to type into your BROWSER, that being Firefox, internet explorer, opera, anything. Whatever you have, whatever you use to see this site, where it says http://lxalliance.net/smf/index.php?action.. etc etc Type in there '192.168.1.1'

That should bring up your router's interface. Look for virtual server/portforward, forward port 23400 on UDP to your INTERNAL ip - you can see that by going to network connections, click the connection to your router (probably wireless. perhaps not) and on the left it should tell you 'internal ip'. It will most likely be 192.168.1.X

If you use NetGear you should be able to access the control panel by typing in www.routerlogin.net in your browsers adress bar.
The default username is "admin" and the password is "password".
