So, as you see, there is something wrong. This command gives a list of all files in ~/.OpenLieroX. As you can see, there is no Zelda, Warhammer40k, Zee, or Powerstruck.

Oh. I don't place the mods in the /usr/share/OpenLieroX folder then? Where the original mods were?

Which is your normal user account? (give us an 'id')

I recognised that some of the folders only have read access for woody.

Do I do the same thing I did before? Except the file where the game is?

What do you mean?

Just start openlierox from the console. Type simply 'openlierox' and hit enter.

Can you try out the current SVN version? Do you know how to get it and compile it?

Getting:
http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=180059

Compiling:
HAWKNL_BUILTIN=1 ./compile.sh

It seems that you have done everything correct. So I want to know if this bug is also there in the current version.

Sure, I'll get on that right now. :)

I assume I just type in Konsole what it says on that link you gave me, let it go on with it then compile?

You need exactly everything what is missing.

There are different descriptions for Debian/Ubuntu what you exactly need to install. For example look at the homepage: http://openlierox.sourceforge.net

I tried the code on it.
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2-dev
sudo apt-get install libsdl-mixer1.2-dev
sudo apt-get install libsdl-image1.2-dev
sudo apt-get install libgd2-noxpm-dev
sudo apt-get install zlib1g-dev
sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev
It couldn't find anything other than the first one, which needed a CD to be put in.

A CD to put in? Which distribution are you using exactly?

You should know how to install software on your distribution...

A list of needed dependencies is in the file DEPS.

probably edit your /etc/apt/sources.list and remove that cd line... and read a bit about the distribution you are using :-) ubuntuforums.org is a very nice resource.
this was posted in the past. everything on forums can be manipulated. don't believe what you see or read.

I kinda gave up on it. I have no idea what to do. I still have the contents of the latest SVN but I have no idea how to compile it and how to get what I need.
