Ok i made this poem and i think its great! Yeah go me! so yeah im posting, and its copy writed by Mariam Disney Inc! ok her it is...

(C) Cinderella so pretty and fair

who makes everything with special care

even when it seem her life is not fair

but that all changed when she met the man of her life

with the help of her friends the mice

her wicked family hid her away

but when the prince came she came downstairs to say

im the real princess oh prince

but the prince was not convinced

oh please said cindella let me try

the prince agreed and walked to her but got tripped and the glass slipper flew high

oh my

the prince was devistated till cinderella showed her extra slipper

the wicked mother was devistated she was the tripper

cinderella went off to get married

all thanks to the old fairy. (c)

As a Disney hater and published poet myself............This is'nt a poem it's a rhyme....The sort of thing your taught to do in Kindergarden. But a good rhyme none the less and this could prolly be published........Probbably....maybe I dunno.....It's better than half the dribble they put in poetry books today.....

why are you wasting lxa bandwith with this???
there are no poetic quality to it (like kiwi said)
its a like a disgrace to cinderella and disney.
maybe next time u write a poem, think about it first.

This is the Works Of Art forums. She mixed up the words rhyme and poem big deal, and It could be considered a free verse mate depending on your view of it =).Do you really need to add the disgrace part cinderella and disney, cause I could say a lot about that and you in lx but do I... NO. Why are you trolling anyways and posting meaningless posts, your not even adding anything. The peom to me is okay the rhyming is fine but not my type of poem... =).

There are many types of Poems.
My fave is Haiku

Sorry if this is grave-digging, its just i dont know how to find when the last post was posted

But I'd just like to say that you shouldnt offend someone like that Mariam if you ask for comments and ratings. Dont just expect good comments.....

Anyway you said you "Didn't care what people said", then before that, your ASKING for peoples oppionions. Im not going to minus a Karma point though, its just a lesson....

Funny how you are talking this is a waste of space and it's not a poem... and just what do you do in that Poetry thread? Like that is something more than this...

And as to rate the poem... it is a poem like any other. At least it has rhymes, which is really rare nowadays. No other figures in it, at least nothing advanced.

It sure is a poem, but poem about what? Is there a point hidden between those lines? Or you've just mixed some rhymes, that's the question!
