Horror Bots From Hell?
« on: April 24, 2014, 12:04:21 pm »
I do not understand why the moderators of LXA allow spambotspam to keep existing.
It's a simple click on the delete button eh.

Also - I'm sure a little effort can be put into preventing bots to register an account. Pls, it's 2014.

Bots are like vultures. They herald the end of forum days. Feeding on a shameful worm corpse. Best to root them out, one by one, every last of them.

Vampires might be bit scarier than vultures tho. Corpse-pecking, chunk-off-ya-neck-biting, disgusting little vamps!

Oh right, vampires are lighthearted in 2014...

What about zombacolypse? Nah... I think I'm getting obsolete and old.

Yeah I personally think, I should totally be a moderator, considering my good efforts in keeping this forum active.

How dare you.

In regards to the bots, eh. Just report them like I do anytime I see them, and they'll get dealt with. Not a horribly big deal.

Spam bots are consistently posting so I always like to keep them alive to keep the forum active.

Right now there is about one bot registering a week and making two senseless posts (Stuff like "I really like this, I found this situation so useful, hope others will too!") before not doing anything else. They're usually banned by me, and their posts removed within a few days depending on if they get reported before I check the forum for activity. If anyone stumbles over any spamposts, report them and they'll be dealt with.
