When i update the serverlist there is sometimes certain servers which i cant join, the staus is "blue" and the ping says N/A. Why cant i join them? Other people seem to be able to do it.

As far as I know the servers marked with (only) blue icon are behind NAT and don't have the appropriate port forwarded. They must use "UDP hole punching" or a similar NAT traversal technique to establish connections, and this is not as straightforward as direct connecting. So this is mostly a server-side issue.

So, is there anything i can do to join? I mean, there is 5 players in a server that for me is blue and cant join.

Try again. Also, check the log files (or console output on Unix-like OSes), and look for lines with "traverse" or something.

"Blue" servers (servers behind NAT routing) cannot be joined from everywhere. If you are lucky (mostly if you have a direct Internet connection, i.e. no NAT; or if both yours and the servers NAT router allows the UDP hole punching tricks), you can. But it's definitely possible that others can join and you cannot. There is not much that you can do about it.

You can tell the server admin to forward the specific LX port on his/her router. Then the server shouldn't be shown as "blue" anymore and you always should be able to join.
