I used to use last.fm, but I hated how you couldn't pause songs. And some of the shit I was looking for they didn't even have.

Well you can use something else for listening like for example spotify(if thats what you mean), and scrobble the songs you listen from spotify to last.fm(in that case, obviously, you pause the songs from spotify). Dunno about the other things you are looking for :P only thing i could add there is a some kind of chat, but i really just use it to see what ive been listening and all kinds of detail about what music i and other people like/listen etc.

I've heard good things about spotify but haven't tried it yet. And by shit I meant artists haha, I listen to a lot of underground hip hop and rock, and when I was on last.fm like 3 years ago they didn't have a good bit of the artists I was looking for.
