FIGHTBOX 2012
The largest and most successful tournament in LX history with rules designed for offensive and fun gaming.


Simple info

    Tournament includes 500 games.
    Each round is a deathmatch. You got 3 lives and first player to reach 7 kills wins.
    If no one reach 7, the one closest to 7 wins.
    If more than one player get 7 kills, it's last man standing who wins.
    For every game you win, you obtain 1 point for yourself, 1 for your country and 1 for your clan, if you are in one.


Rules

    Suicide = -1 kill.
    Hacking, camping, running and other lame stuff will result in suspenssion and possible ban from whole tournament.
    Suiciding on purpose to affect the result is not allowed and will result in suspenssion and possible ban from whole tournament.
    Minimum player limit is 6 and max limit is 12.
    Killing a player that is afk or typing is allowed.
    Too high ping will result in a kick from the server.
    Once you scored for one clan, you can not score for any other clan during the tournament.


Special round: WTA

    Every hosting session should be ended with a WTA if possible.
    Either with 12 players or 8 players.

    With 12 players:
    Random teams 6v6, winning team proceed. (2 lives game)
    Random teams 2v2v2, winning team proceed. (2 life game)
    Duel 1v1, winner gets 1 point. (1 life game)

    With 8 players:
    Random teams 4v4, winning team proceed. (2 lives game)
    Random teams 2v2, winning team proceed. (2 life game)
    Duel 1v1, winner gets 1 point. (1 life game)

Nice! I think it would be good to lower the rounds from 500 to 300. That would make the competition tighter and all the rounds finished before the end of the world :)

Fightbox is traditionally 3 lives 7 kills system but perhaps if no one achieves 7 kills - the one with most dmg gets the victory?

Interesting things you brought up here.

Me and MiLeC have decided some cool stuff about the amount of rounds and how points are dealed each round.
You will see what we made up, sooner or later!

I hope MiLeC shows activity 2012 if he's going to be a host of FB 12 :)

SorZ, that is good to hear to have a sequel of FB :)

Maybe u should have some Host Announcements that means each host tels when he is gonna host the next FB round so others will know.

Sure it is not always possible to tell such times but it would help.


I'd let the old sytem with 7 kills, 3 lifes. But like Lodur supposed to have a dmg facotr, i guess that wont be too good cause there are still bugs with it.

Maybe it is also important to have a "list" where every player can see in whihch contest he/she is envolved. At the moment many tournys are announced.

Otherwise keep it simple, I suggest mostly rifle/classic games with max players of 10, else it gets too crowded and it doesn't fit this game if there is deathmatch with too many players. Also as pretty much every evening there are a lot of players I suggest you to do it without invitations (through MSN) so active players get a little edge, as a reward for being active.

There are many possibilities to consider, but I think leaving WTA's out utterly would be a waste of a gaming system that is generally found exciting and cool. If it was left for me to decide, I think I would reduce the WTA winning score to 1 to make them less consequential, have each session ended in an exciting WTA round and be happy about it.

I think the way it is right now, is good.. Most kills win, if people have same number of kills, the one who survived longer, wins.........  DMG would be just pointless, because it's easily abusable to get damage and survive with some weaps.
