When players dissapear and goes invisible etc.

Well, if you have tried the version yourself and played it some...
you should be aware of this bug, since it occurs every single time you play.

Edit: Also some people posted about it here but it seems you haven't noticed.
Anyway, to explain a bit more.
I'm not 100% sure why this happens and if it depends on what server the host is using etc. but..
Anyway, for example: I kill you and the second you die you go invisible (scoreboard doesnt count the kill and the chatbox does not display it happend) and you respawn invisible for others and you can't see anyone yourself.
And suddenly if you die ocassionaly or something, everything is back normal.
And then it probably happens again.

you should be aware of this bug, since it occurs every single time you play.

I do it all the time (I always only use the latest version). Have played maybe 40 hours already with it. Never seen such thing.

60 FPS should be pretty playable. I remember that I have played earlier with 30 FPS (had a very slow PC earlier).

Btw., I wonder why OGL performs so bad for you. On most systems, I have seen better performance with OGL than without. What system do you have? Maybe have not correctly installed the graphic drivers? Do other games work ok with OGL?

Force 0.56 physics has no impact on the FPS (why should it?).

As a workaround, you can change of course the number in the config file.

When I play with 90+ FPS with 0.56 version, 60 FPS is not playable. At least I can't play when it "lags" my screen, I can't aim as well as I normally could, I can't dodge the weapons as I could, I can't throw the rope and move as smoothly as otherwise I would, just not playable for me. Umm, this PC is old so it can be because of that, Windows XP, Radeon 9000 (with latest drivers, everything else works fine...), 512 MB of ram, Intel Celeron 2,1 GHz... but 0.56 works well, so does OLX beta 3, and 5. Low FPS problem occurs on my laptop as well, with much better specifications, but it has integrated graphic card so I guess that's the problem there. But yeah, do I have too sucky PC for OLX?

About the bug... OLX doesn't let me write the numbers or any ascii keyboard sign to the box with number of players. Haven't tried to change the name, perhaps that doesn't work either. Yes, I can change it manually in Windows.

I don't know really, I shot myself way more often that was what I noticed. Other way I just couldn't get where I wanted got stuck or was too slow whatever, and then my aim was very slow somewhy.

I searched in OLX and found no place to tick 0.56physics on. I play with 166 FPS anyway, ;)

When you host (or in local play), just select the LX56 settings.

If you play on a hoster which allows different phyiscs FPS for every client or if you are the host, you can set it via console (for example setVar GameOptions.GameInfo.LX56PhysicsFPS 50) or via options.cfg or via gamesettings dialog (which is only accessible in host lobby or in local play, though).

Btw., don't confuse MaxFPS, the current FPS and LX56PhysicsFPS. That are all different things.

Sure I can. Also planned already. Just no time. :)

Whereby, in case of LX56PhysicsFPS, you probably don't really change it that often. You probably just set it once to your prefered value and then you leave it like that. Or how often have you changed MaxFPS in LX56?

I've tested this Beta for a week. Gameplay is in my PC optimized. I mean, in 0.58 average framerate is ca. 45, now here 50. Unfortunatelly, i've got more problems than in Beta8. Besides same bugs as in previous Beta, i noticed, that some sounds are slowdowned (for example, GameOver and Donkey Kong sounds in 8-bit WarFare Mod). I think, it's my PC's fault again , so i won't report it to Bugtracker. Hmm, till i haven't a new PC (i'll buy it at December, in my 18. Birthday), i'm staying at 0.58 RC3, even when it will be latter stable version, but that's not mean, i won't check them for testing purposes ;)

I have Windows 7, i have this beta, i have problems: Dont see Lives, Kills, Time (in HnS).

On what server (what version) have you played? Or have you done the server yourself?

I found the thing when I tried to host, but only some 400 ping noob came who left after few mins so I got tired of hosting and later joined other server. Found no place then. Btw that command is wayyy tooo long. If some new player, or even old, is supposed to remember such things then he/she will quit right away xD
