The Chronicles of Snazrackia
« on: October 18, 2009, 11:02:15 pm »
In the far North Eastern Mountains, of Bossland lies a kingdom of Snazrackia. The city is fresh off the assassination of their king and are now looking for a new heir. Although that is the least of there problems, with growing monsters and a war with the Unholy kingdom of Bone from the south. The Snazrackians get nervous with no leader in place, the city is confused, and dying. This is were our story begins

(You can always sign up on the sign up sheet if you aren't signed up don't post all posts not related the the role play must have Brackets around them to show its your talking not your character be creative and have fun!)

(anything that involves fighting each other and other things must be left open for me or Asrack to decide what happens so just don't say k it died.)

As Talagorr enters the giant city of Snazrackia with only his few possessions and 97Gold he wanders around looking for someone to ask about his lost brother after hours of finding nothing he looks for a place to rest his head and goes to the local inn and dreams of better hopes for tomorrow.

Sitting at the local inn's pub, Amloth drinks down a glass of ale and grunts to the sound of dwarfs laughing in the corner.  Far concerned with himself he reaches for his sword and says, "but if I kill them here, then I will be in trouble Harkoth... I would rather keep my head low for a bit.", putting his sword back in his shealth he orders another glass of ale and continues drinking.

Suddenly, the men see an unknown stranger who is dressed in black and is squatting in the darkest corner of the room. The stranger says : " I can see you are new in town, but i'm not here to make friends. I'm here to tell you about a ring, which i need help getting with. " ( the men have no idea what he is being drawn into ). Suddenly , the stranger runs, and leaps out of the open window with a beautiful Front Somersault with 2 twists and 3 flips which he lands perfectly.

( The unknown stranger didn't reveal his name, he almost always works alone, but this  time the journey is far too difficult for one man no matter how well he is trained )

"Other than being confused about the perfect jump, and utterly amazed that he could do that out of a bottom floor window, I am just curious as to something, but I should be turning in for the night." Amloth travels upstairs to his room.

In the middle of the night something wakes Amloth  up, and he sees the unknown stranger jumping in from the window with a perfect  Front Somersault with 2 twists and 3 flips.

"You have given some thought about it now i suppose?" Asks the man, as much as i hate to admit it, i need a man with your capabilities.. "What say you, we don't have much time!"

The unknown guy runs with the speed of a wolf..and catches up with Amloth
he tries to make a loud voice, but he only manages to whisper more loudly.
" Wait Amloth, can you not remember me? How can this be what have 'they' done to you, i have not seen you for a long time and this is how you greet me?"
"is there anything you remember at all?"

The stranger knows, what Amloth is capable of, and murmurs: " haha, a puny skeleton won't harm me. If you do not know who i am, you do not know what you are capable of either, but if you come with me i might be able to help you with that." And suddenly the master of stealth disappears with the blink of an eye leaving the two men where they were, before Amloth could even respond.

[Added a new area: Bossy Plains]

Sir Keijo stood over a round table, squinting down at a map. The Kingdom of Bone had eighty thousand well trained and equipped men ready to march at the lands of Snazrackia. Sir Keijo and the other officers in the room had lost the sense of time, they barely noticed a servant who came to lit up torches when the sun had coloured reddish and slowly withdrawing to the horizon. It had been a long day, but Sir Keijo was used to stay awake for two or even three days in a row at times of war. Tomorrow, fifty thousand warriors would begin marching north, taking positions in wide Bossy Plains. But before that, the unholy army would rest well, no soldier stressed over the future that would denote vast amounts of pain and bloodshed.

( Damn this will be so epic, as there are some followers of the good side and the evil side... let's see where a war will take us!!)

Because The Stranger's plans didn't go like he thought they will, he still knew he still has a goal to achieve. His power hungry mind won't set him free until he gets what he wants.

After hearing a rumor, that the dark forces have gathered an army from a local merchant, he couldn't care less, He has no intention of helping out the mankind because, why should he save something, he doesn't care about, nor should he act differently to the other side.

The Stranger set off for Vidarcano mountain after failing to convince Amloth or his brother Talagorr to come with him. He moves like a shadow, running at all night, and sleeping during the daytime. He wants the ring, which once belonged to a mighty Druid centuries ago, like a drug. He is obsessed with it, and it's the only thing running through his mind.

The same night he had left for the journey to the Vidarcano to slay "the keeper" of the ring, after running for 3 hours he suddenly heard footsteps in front of him. The stranger stood still to listen more carefully, the whole forest was as quiet as tomb, you could hear him breathing a mile away. And then suddenly, a branch broke nearby. Startled, The Stranger jumped 6 meters on a tree branch and
hollered: "Who goes there?" and waited for someone to reply...

Hearing the dark voice sent shivers down Aicaos spine because he thought noone would be there at that time of night. He approached the voice and says ".. it depends on who is asking." and reaches for his blade..

[Named the river around Vidarcano to Vidarriver]
[Added some woods in the south-eastern corner, wherein Sir Keijo had prepared a camp]

That night, southern area of Vidarriver

Vidarriver's flowing echoed softly while Sir Keijo ate dark rye bread in their forest camp and drank black airag to keep him warm. Campfire was forbidden as the enemy scouts could spot smoke, report it and hence all the hiding they had done would be in vain. Most of the Snazrackia scouts would be patrolling around the Bossy Plains due to the new threat, like he had estimated, but still there could be someone with sharp eyes, so he thought it's better to be sure. As the darkness was absolute, Sir Keijo ordered his thirty thousand men to cross Vidarriver once again, and venture towards Vidarcano, which they would bypass from its eastern side.

Sir Keijo couldn't believe his eyes when he saw a very old man going against his 30,000 with mere 10 men at his side. He was so amused that he decided not to kill the man, but to ask the old man to join his army for his courage.

As it was settled, Sir Keijo left to the province of Vidar with his 30.000 men, and Sir Seberus was supposed to go north of the Unholy Kingdom - to the Bossy Plains.

During the evening, Sir Seberus took the chance to analyze the field and terrain. He sent out some scouts around the area to search for passages where the enemy could pass through. He was looking forward for this battle. Yet, he didn't know why he actually was fighting. Was it for his survival? Or is it because he mustn't forfiet his knightship? It didn't matter right now. He was busy with stocking up and planning.
His scouts returned after a few hours with the proper information. Some scouts had found something really interesting - a cave.

Sir Seberus thought for a while. The main plan was to attack Snazrackia from two fronts. But he didn't hesitate to send two scouts to investigate the cave.

As the dark night swallowed the plains, Sir Seberus and his men fortyfied defences and planned strategies for the upcoming battle.
