You can get around it by using a projectile trail.  Make the projectile birth the small bombs, and the trail make the flame. (Or opposite way around, I'm not really seeing this weapon in my head, so bare with me)

It's the only thing I know of currently that works, until the new compiler is released.

Edit: I am also not used to using LMS. I use notepad, so I don't know my way around LMS. I'm sorry if some things might be out of context.
