What I mean, Albert, was that us old players dont really recognize this Gusanos thingy as the game we like and started to play. Sure there are new players who find it more cool and awesome and better but LieroX is a classic game and it starts to feel like too much update in so little time.

Most people actually here on LXA, including many oldies, always wanted to have scripted levels/mods. Now it is there. Should I just have announced it as "scripted levels/mods" instead of saying that it is "scripted levels/mods + Gusanos compatible"?

And you should seriously consider releasing betas less often and do more work on them instead of releasing a beta where '' Updates: Max FPS raised by 20. '' or so...

Betas are only for testing anyway. You can download them but you don't have to. If you don't want to help in the development, just ignore them and only keep using the stable versions.

Actually, I understand you Lodur. But consider for a moment, lx hadn't been developed for years. When OLX came around, development has been fast, yes. But could it just be craning the distance between classic games that were under development all that time.
Automatic update would be fine for me but im sure that there will be a protest about it from oldzkoolers
Probably. But I'm sure the devs are so fed up with it already that they don't mind their whine.

I do agree here. On the other hand, with an automatic update those small features would just appear one at a time, not requiring separate updating.

Rakkula is just cheering for updates and shit so other players would quit LX and he can be a good player for once in his life, among those new noobs that he named.
Do you ever say anything constructive or any not-so-stupid-Tafka comments?

Opinions are like assholes: everyone has one, and they usually stink.
I started playing LX while you were on your mother's stomach

You do realize that because of too many of these test versions everyone has different betas and that causes lag problems in servers. Im also very sceptical about your decision to put faster aim on rc3 (and 2).. That's actually the reason why I didn't download them

At the minute Im testing 0.59b8 and I see some things I do like actually.. It's a good thing that you can still choose to play 0.56 kind of LX! Good job with that.

Like said before, people are too lazy to update all the time and when there are like 27 different LX:s made ( 0.56, 0.57 1-9, 0.58 1-9 and 0.59 1-8. If im right ) maybe the best choise would be the automatic update if it's even possible. I personally love my very first beta 1 which I still have to use for hosting as my host wont appear on the server list with the latest stable versions nor betas.

No, that is not possible with any version since 0.58 rc1. I.e. impossible with all those versions:

0.58 rc1-3
0.59 beta1-8

All older versions are set as incompatible so it doesn't matter.

I just made any aim speed possible. You can just have it the way it was in LX56.

Actually, there are about >6000 different versions but you need to compile most of them yourself.

Those you have mentioned where all testing beta releases for people who like to help on the developmend and who want to test it - for nobody else. You don't need to download/use them (except you want to help us or test the new features).

You have forgotten to mention all the stable releases we made. That was:

0.57 rc1
0.58 rc1-3

There was only *one single* version since the very beginning of our development where you really were needed to download. So in over three years, you were only *once* forced to do a download. Is that really so much?

All other downloads you may have made were completely up to you. You didn't needed to do those downloads. We also have said that at many places. And after all, that is what "beta" means. Like in all other projects/games/apps.

But I agree that it would still be nice to have an automatic downloader at least for people who like to keep up with the newest beta. Just nobody had the time to implement that yet. If anyone wants to do it: Feel free and do some good for OLX!

Really amazing collection of games:

And OLX at 6:13 :)

Also quite a few Soldat/Teeworlds/Liero (I guess all mouse-controlled) like games I have never seen before.
