Horror is maybe my least favorite genre, especially when it comes to newer ones, and the one Cizin mentioned seems like quite an ordinary new horror movie to me. So I'm not really interested to see that one. But I do like some older horror, like Hammer horror, movies like The Exorcist, and of course the good old slashers. And classics like Dracula and Frankenstein.

My two personal favorite types of movies are Hong Kong action and Westerns, especially Spaghetti Westerns. I have quite a large collection of Hong Kong action, but I'm really only getting started with the Westerns. A lot of the good old Westerns, besides the absolute classics, seem to be quite difficult to find, especially in Finland. =/
I last saw High Plains Drifter by Clint Eastwood, and I think it's easily his best Western after the Dollars trilogy. It has a very classic Western setting, with a stranger coming to town and hired to protect the town from some felons. But it also has some unusual (for a Western) elements of supernaturality in it. Go watch it! Trailer here:
I'm also currently watching Sonny Chiba's Street Fighter trilogy which is awesome also. I've now seen the first two and I'll probably watch the third tomorrow, then I'll maybe come over here to say how I liked it. A poor English trailer for the first movie here:
Good topic by the way, at least if we get some real discussion here too. I would be interested in knowing if anyone else likes these types of movies.
