lablad meant slang there, aka three possibilities:
a. great; fine; excellent: a real cool comic.
b. characterized by great facility; highly skilled or clever: cool maneuvers on the parallel bars.
c. socially adept: It's not cool to arrive at a party too early.
a. great; fine; excellent.
Grizzly bears are very refined creatures. The processes going on in their cells is so complicated that far from everything has been discovered yet, but even the things that have been discovered already put together is more than i could ever post here. However, the processes going on in human cells are almost identical. The part that differs the most happens to also be the most refined and complicated part: The brains. It's mainly in this area where you'll notice humans being greater, finer and more excellent amongst other animals than Grizzly's are.
b. characterized by great facility; highly skilled or clever.
Although Grizzly bears are highly skilled and clever in finding various sources of food, this is in no comparison to human skills and cleverness. Grizzly's catch their fish by standing in a river and trying to catch them one by one, with their claw or mouth. Humans build ships and nets, catching entire shoals of fish on one go. Grizzly's roam around the bush looking for plants they can eat. Humans build farms where they grow exactly the kind of plants they want, in large quantities. Need i go on?
c. socially adept.
I admit that humans fight a lot more than Grizzly's do, but take this into account: Grizzly Bears are solitary animals, preferably living separate lives, miles apart from eachother. When they do encounter, it is usually in the pairing seazon and it often results in a fight between two males. Most humans live in villages or cities, ranging from a couple of hundred to a couple of million individuals all living together. If humans would not be more socially adept than Grizzly bears are, this would have not been possible.
To summarise: No matter which of those definitions Lablad meant, humans are much cooler than Grizzly Bears. It still appears to me though as if he was talking about body temperature. That way Grizzly's are at least a bit cooler. Unless he meant to put his sentence the other way around ofcourse ("and to wander....aint a human 1000 times cooler than a grizzly bear

"), in that case i'll have to agree with him up to a certain point (I'm not sure about the number).
I like the comparison between yourselves and Grizzly Bears though, within the perspective of the allies being humans. Especially when using definition a or b.
