For the "Joy-Happiness/Depression-Worry" picture, how did you make the eye transparently gradient? Paintshop? Paint.NET?

Radial-gradient layer mask in photoshop.

Finally got around to finishing the header illustration for russonflowers.com:

I love it. Though, I noticed, the nav-bar "about" and "news" look much smoother than the other buttons. As those are image files, they should be easy to fix.

Sheah I noticed that too. I wouldn't worry about it just because the other graphics pull 99% of the visitors attention. I have very little time to OCD like I used to. In this business you have to make the most out of what's noticeably good and just move on to the next project without getting too picky. It's the paychecks that I have to worry about, and as long as the client is happy my wallet is too. 8)

With my next big projects, I'm moving to San Diego, Cali to work directly. I'm driving solo for 3 days to get to my very first (and notably very nice!!) apartment. I'm totally psyched to get out the poophole I'm at now. I told the parental units that it might only be temporary for a few months, but I intend to stay awhile. A looong sunshiny while ;D

So check out the template. Chava is coming out with a book in a couple weeks and will be on Oprah, Regis & Kelly, and a lots of others. Her website is intricate to lots of people's success, so we made it an opportunity for me to move on from home. Wish me the best of luck guys!
