Vector image is freely scalable without any quality loss. (you can zoom my PDF and you will never see any pixel there) If you make a PNG,  JPG, PSD, BMP, any kind of bitmap, it has a certain dimension, for example 1200px x 1024px, or 3000 x 2000 etc etc. If you would need a bigger size of that image, you would see the loss of quality. But the vector artwork is not limited to any dimensions, you can make bitmap of any size from it, f.e. 10 000px x 10 000px or even bigger if you need.

...if you will dwell deeper into this topic, you will realize the pros and cons of vector artworks. It's fun :)
Oh, right! Well yeah, that pixelification is really annoying xS So I guess vectors are actually pretty handy!

Any art is fun! I think I will have to take another attempt at vectors ^^ I could never make any profit from my art, I'm just doing it for fun :D

But thanks for the info, hopefully I'll master that art some day too! ;D
