Is it possible to make a command to kill out a player completely?
Like the suicide command?

Then people will use it for no reason, just to win :S.

I was thinking to make it so you can only use it on yourself. It would of course be completely stupid if the host could just kill anyone out.

You already have /suicide command with this function (to kill yourself) ?

I think he means just type a command once, and *whoop* you're out of the game, instead of typing /suicide as many times as you have lives.

I think he means just type a command once, and *whoop* you're out of the game, instead of typing /suicide as many times as you have lives.

a good name for such command could be /spectate (to enter spectator mode). i think this setting should NOT be reset upon starting a new game. When a person is still in spectator mode, and all the other players have chosen weapens and pressed 'ready', the game can start even when the spectator haven't pressed 'ready'. When they DO press ready in time, they should automatically enter playing mode again. maybe a little timer (about 5 sec should do) could be build in to give spectators enough time to re-enter. The moment the game registers a key-press from a spectator, a package should be send to the server to tell that they want to re-enter playing mode.

so why go through all the trouble to implement it like this ^^ ? It means you don't have to wait for players that entered spectator mode upon starting a new game, and you also don't have to kick em to proceed with the game. They will also be there to join for the next game without the hassle of having to re-enter the server.

A host should also be able to tag players as spectator in the lobby(i presume this only needs to be an option in team deathmatch). the usually coloured square could be an icon instead that shows that someone is in spectator mode.

It wouldn't be compatible with 0.56 then. But as someone suggested  -  uncompatible.. that would be normal idea, but it should be thinked over before adding it. Like how long time or smth. And it shouldn't be possible to add the "Play Mode" During game. else you have most lives and you go play.

yes, i wasn't really thinking about compatibility  ;D

i guess its more of a longterm feature request then..

Oh, this is question to me actually.
I've already extended LeiroX font files. I drew much much more weird signs, so it should support polish/czech/slovenian/finnish/swedish signs, and even  few more. I can't tell which countries use all the wierd letters. It probably will be implemented soon, dunno if in the nearest version tho.

I've tried this out, and i'm now a permanent user :)

I've found a couple of bugs i thought to report incase they haven't been mentioned. Sometimes players are muted in the lobby even though I haven't muted them, so i'll have to unmute them when they enter the server. And there's also an occasional keyboard bug when adding the "server message" which makes odd keystroke repetitions.

And i just have to delete the folder and download normal 0.56 pack and LX pro back again... that sucks :(

To prevent that in the future, I suggest you use that handy tool that came with  LX Pro which enables you to send error reports to DarkCharlie so he at least know what the problem is.

All the details of what you were doing.

what was the last things you did on lx pro before it stopped responding?
Were you running it in windowed mode?
Was it ingame, or was it in the game menu?
what other programs were you running?
what are your pc specs?
How long did it take from you started the program, till it stopped responding?
I bet there is a bunch of other info you could include as well...
